And so another week has come to an end. Our challenge for week 2 of the 52weekchallenge was to make something from the last fabric you purchased. My last fabric I purchased was on a local destash page. I bought it with the specific purpose of using it as part of my planned capsule wardrobe for the 2018RTWFast. Thus, this was an easy one for me.
What fabric did I use and what did I make?
I chose a double brushed poly with navy and white stripes and bright coral flowers. My biggest challenge was to decide what to pair it with. I had a plain navy and a plain coral Viscose Lycra in my stash already and my secondary goal here is to use as much as possible of what I already have. It was a tough choice but the navy won 🙂
My favourite top pattern, at the moment, seems to be the Embrace Tee by Rad Patterns. I find it to be a quick sew and think it looks good on me too. I have discovered my body type and am pleased that most of what I already have/like seems to be what recommended for my body type. Thankfully this pattern is one of those styles.
Can you believe how fast the first 2 weeks of 2018 has flown by? Have you made anything yet or are you still planning? What was the last fabric you purchased and what are you going to make with it?
